It only said snake because he knew he couldn't take a cobra, maybe a little corn snake but no way a cobra Not to mention a stock Trans-Am (couldn't find WS6, don't even know about it lol) has 310 HP and 340 ft/lbs of torque (2002) and the only Cobra it could beat is 2001 and under. It couldn't take a 2003 Cobra stock for stock though. Unless the driver of the cobra sucks.
