I agree, for short periods it's no problem. Heck, I like to live on the edge and have had my V6 300 rpms into the red while racing down the front straight at PIR. Wouldn't recommend it, but she held together.

well it will affect it later on just try to remember not to keep it real high wen ur driving or crusin u know like around 3000 3500 is kool for drivin on the freeway in 4th gear but racin i love takin it to bout 6400 6500 rpms wen i race

bounce off the rev limter much? good luck with the 6500 rpm's you are going to grenade.

Since its basically on topic, alot of times i like to use the shifting on my automatic. When im driving around town i usually use it and when i hit the 35 zone its usually in 3rd gear but it still revs at like 3000rpms and makes the engine get alittle bit louder. Is it anusual for this? When it does it i end up shifting into 4th but i didnt think 35mph was too fast for 3rd gear to handle just cruising
