clutch andpossible rear axle and new suspension in the front lol
I missed the poss rear end oh man didn’t see that, the way you launch like a rocket and if your adding a power adder with built bottom end might want to skip the 8.8 and go right to a 9.0 LOL

Ocd03gro the conversation with John and I you quoted talking gears & t-lok was about 60’comparisons per low end torque we weren’t talking gearing per ¼ mile ET’s.

Just for the record also when anyone installs gears a T-lok/LSD is also installed. No one here has just installed gears and not a T/lok/TT LSD that I know so when I talk gears that includes a T-lok or TT I assumed you knew that.

For the record I am pretty sure Nav’s has 373’s and LSD but someone else can confirm that.

Just posting the above so there is no misunderstanding on my quotes you posted.
that doesn't change what i said at all...i know for a fact bscottie has an open diff meaning no lsd or locker. What i was saying about nav is i think his 13.6 run was before his rearend work, but i wasn't sure. I agree that i don't think anyone on here has installed gears without putting in a locker/lsd, but it is possible...that has nothing to do with what i was saying tho...[&:]
I was there for Nav's 13.6 run. At the time, he had 3.73's, LSD, LCA, drive shaft and loop and MT ET Streets. He also had line locks and was getting some insane burnouts.

alright, that's what i was talking about. I thought he hadn't had the gears and lsd installed at the time of that run, thanks for clarifying.

ya it cost me, i wont be doin it again anytime soon. id love to go to the 8.8, but since i dont have R&P tools at my shop, i have to pay someone else to install gears, and i want 3.55's not 3.31s... so unless i find a 3.55 one laying around, ill probably just repair the 7.5, weld up the axle tubes, and see what it can do.

i'm still not exactly clear on what the hi-po has over the cali kit. From their site, i guess it just has a better intake...
The Cali kit is designed to pass your state's emissions test, the Hi-Po wont.
