My preformance shop says that the x-charger does not have some CA # to be legal In Cali does any one know if this is true. He says looks like a great unit butI should wait till they have DMV approval in Cali.
I have been on the edge about getting one but I am worried about this and how easy it is to install.

I as I understand it, they are working on a CARB# for Ca.................I am in Ca and I went for the group buy, if your vehicle is new in CA, you won't get smog checked for 5 or 6 years, by that time it will be legal in Ca.....that is what I am understanding.....no guts, no glory!!! X-Charge.....

Thanks for the response. That's whatmy shopwas saying they "should" get approval but it would be wise to wait till then so that there are no problems I'd hate to spend all that $$$to find out that they didn't get it. Cali isnot known for it's open mindedness to DMV laws LOL
