If you stick to oem tire sizes the overall tire diameter will stay the same. Use a tire calculator. You dont have to sacrifize looks for performance. Like i said ..Iam runing 14.5 with the 18 inch fanblades.

well i now have the wheels on and i can tell that it is a little more sluggish accelerating. i imagine this is from the extra weight. is there anything i can do to offset this that is relatively inexpensive? any help would be appreciated. oh, and they look great. i'll get some pics up when i can.
oh, and the tiresare indeed the bf goodrich g-force kdws that came with them from the factory.

yes, extra rotation weight will take away from rwhp. Aprox every 5hp in rotation weight takes away about 1 rwhp. 14/15 lb of sprung weight (not rotational) = 1 rwhp. If each wheel only weighs 5lb more than your current, you are loosing about 4rwhp which is not that noticable but you gain on cornering and your wheels don't spin as much on take offs so you probably improve 1/4 mile run a bit.
I would not recommend going above 5-7lb for each wheel since the extra weight will directly result in noticable hp decrease. Just as example, by switching my 16" rims to GT 17" rims and 235/55 tires, I've gained about 6 lb per wheel and my fuel economy droped about 1-2mpg (also increased rolling resistence). Not that noticable in acceleration drop but handeling improved a lot so I win some and I loose some. On the other hand, replacing my heavy steel wheels on my minivan from stock 50lb to Mustang 42lb improved my acceleration in minivan and fuel economy went up 1mpg.
Sorry for long response but hope it helps.
