does anyone out there know what would cause the center console where the shift **** and parking break are located to get hot? does anyone else have the same problem? I called ford and they said that it was the tranny making it hot... what do you all think?

I have not noticed this in my mustang. I have not gone on any long trips. The longest drive Ive had so far is about 45min.
In that amount of time, I haven't noticed the console getting warm. I have noticed this happening in other cars that I have owned though.
