Haven't heard of any "tinted windows" issues lately (scratches and what not). Was that an 05, 06models issue only due to the stiff window trim or same with the 07. I guess the moleskinfeltworks. What else have you guys done to combat this?

+1, I was just gonna ask the same thing. Are people with 07's seeing the window tint scratches? I was thinking about tinting mine soon, but am too lazy to order moleskin. And where can I just get some felt? I heard people used felt, but don't know where to buy it. Are 07's still getting scratched??

hmmm. well i have an 06 and have had mine tinted for several months now and have had zero problems with it.

i have an 07 and the tints have lines or scratches...how do i get rid of them??[:@]

Re-tint and have felt installed on the inside trim; it's the only way, you can't take the scratches out.

I got my windows tinted a week or two after i got my car and it has horrible lines in the tint. im just glad its not on my actual windows

WHAT????? this is the first I've heard of this and I just had mine tinted.....exactly where is this felt supposed to go? Is this something that I can do? Is it as simple as removing the door panel and gluing some felt strips to the inner window trim along the top of the door panel? This is a real issue that I need to take care of a.s.a.p.
Can anyone who has done this provide details?
