TB spacer= $150 missing from wallet
missing money = weight reduction
weight reduction = your car .00000000002 seconds faster

I got an MMR one for 20 bux so I put it on....It made my intake sound better...I think thats it. I just took off my mods to bring the car to the dealer, so before I putit back on ill test it without and with it again to see if I can tell...

It is currently the most expensive paperweight I have ever purchased. I suppose I can also use it as a projectile of some sort. Seriously, as much a waste of money as a turbonator.

hey, turbonators are cool. They add 20% to your spending and you car runs faster from one
ATM to next :-)
All Joking aside. I got one of those of an e-bay few years back and installed it in my van since the guys on the forum talked about improved acceleration. It did perform better from stand still and even spun tires on my underpowered minivan but decreased top line performance. The way I figured, it is reduction in size of the intake and swirl effect provides more power on the bottom and takes away from the top when you need more air to come in. Kind of like the 2 stage intakes except you are missing stage 2 but got lots of power at bottom. It is a waste for our cars for sure but does make a good thing of a jig.

This topic has to be solved once and for all. A TBS has to be compared on a dyno for the 4.0......I mean, some claim up to 20hp gain. Now, if that was true, I would have the fastest N/A 4.0 around....but that is not one bit true. MMR says 8hp and 8 ft lbs....? Some also say that the power does come, but it takes away from top end power to put it more down low. This is crazyness...I plan to leave mine off now.
