Default Need help with calipers

Ok, I plan on painting my calipers this saturday, I have a couple questions on it though

1. can I have a complete list of supplies I will need to do this, including type of paint and primers, and if this could be located at the local pepboys/autozone.

2. any tips on the process and how long it should take is greatly appreciated.

1. Brake Cleaner/degreaser, the paint, wire scrub brush or brillo pad, newspaper, masking tape.

just jack one side up and paint after you cleaned the calipers. I have a silver stang as well and i think the best color would be red. Anyways, you can either buy a caliper painting kit for around $17 or you can just buy high temp red spray paint and tape newspaper up over the whole wheel well.

the stuff drys very fast (less than 10 minutes in my case)and depending on how it looks your probably only going to need a max of 3 coats.

good luck on it.

Why not just pick up a G2 caliper paint kit? 2 stage epoxy paint... lasts for years and stands up to most wheel cleaners.

Did mine in red right after I bought my car (May of 06) and the paint has shown no signs of flaking or chipping and I spray wheel cleaner on them every saturday.
