max power of n/a 4.0L v6
this is a ripoff of a thread in the4.6 v8 section. with all the parts available and all the parts that soon, might, or maybe become available... what could the max power of an n/a 4.0L v6 mustang make?

depends what mods we are talking about. If you don't bother with internals (heads, cams, etc...) 215-220rwhp is max you can pull safely. If you start changing CAMS, heads, overbore, pistons, etc.... In that case you can push to 240-250 rwhp but it is very expensive (another $2k-$3k) and you might as well get a GT.

ya just wondering what the numbers would be. your estimate sounds right. if i wanted to spend that much money for a n/a setup and work on all the internals, it'd be smarter togo f/i instead.

there is actually another guy on a different forum who is getting 220/245. He is running magnaflows (I think), the ASP UDP, and the WMS intake with a custom 93 tune.

you can for sure see 240+rwhp with stock internals. With the ssm heads gash saw a 25rwhp gain over what he had with his bolt ons. That's without cams. With the cams 35rwhp is definately beleivable and some people are seeing 210-215rwhp with just bolt ons...If you bump up the comression by going with pistons and all, you might as go all out get a stroker kit and make some massive torque.
