I went to get some routine maintenance done today, and found out my tires are wearing down. I'll be fine through the summer, but need to get em changed for the winter. With the exception of putting weight in the trunk, what other things should I do to the stang to make it winter ready when the time comes? Obviously there's still pleanty of summer and all of fall left to go, but I want to start saving up so I can have the cash when the time comes. Also, what kind of tires should I get?
im in minnesota and when it snows the mustang is scarey. put some blizzak tires on there and drive really slow. as you already know the sand bags in the trunk help too.
i agree completely with dwisforme05. our cars are completely useless in the winter just the way it is. i try to sit mine as much as possible then take my brothers WRX when i can. haha
Ok, well storing it in any garage is out of the question as buying another car is out of the question. SO, knowing that I'm going to HAVE to drive the stang. Whats the best thing I can do for it. I'm in central IL, so there's not to much snow to worry about, But I work 2 1\2 hours away, and I'll have to make that commute snow or not.
