I am new to the forum and modding Mustangs and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for my '05 Redfire Convertible. (Black top, light graphite interior).

Unfortunatley my pony was used and I am just now discovering some damages. The frame of the top has been bent somehow; my local Ford dealer said it was from someone sitting on the top when it was down... which definitely did not happen under my watch! The dealer also said that the whole thing would cost about $3500 to replace, but it isnt too big of a deal so I'm probably going to leave it. Also, my lovely car came with a big wear spot on the right side of the fabric. Another costly thing to fix if needed.

To add to that, I have some good paint nicks in the front bumper from the gravel roads down at the Lake of the Ozarks. I don't want it to chip any worse but it would be $500ish for fixing, but that seems pretty high for the minor damage.

If you have any advice or ideas for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!


PS- Please keep in mind that I am 16 and I don't have an endless budget, but I would like to make my Mustang unique!

What fabric might that be your talking about? If it is your seat fabric, I would take $399.99 and get some leather take offs

Its the fabric on the convertible top itself. Its a wear spot on the back right part of the top. I'll try to find my camera to take a picture later.
