exhaust installation question

Ya, I messed with that thing for a few hours. The tip sat to the left. It's dead center now though.

how would you be able to readjust it if the muffler hangs by its hangers in a fixed position?

my mother is concerned that if i somehow incorrectly install my gt takeoff muffler, it will lead to carbon monoxcide poisoning inside my car. can somebody clear this up for her? i am going to let her read this entire thread to calm her fears.

If you tighten down the clamps well then there should be no problem .If there's any leaks you will be able to feel the exhaust escaping as you run your hand along the joints but if the clamps are tightened I dought there are any leaks .I had no problem with mine

Mine were clamped on as well. The shop did that way in case I wanted ever wanted to convert back to stock.

thanks for all the answers and thanks to the mod who made my pics show. i just cant seem to get my stocks off, so im going to go to my friend's shop and get him to help me.

got them on finally. haha. and i must say, after i got the stock muffler off, my car sounded like a v8. then i put the gt takeoff on and it still sounds pretty good
