Well, there is no way in hell i am going to sell my car, its new, its mine, and its just the way i want it (except for the trans.) So i guess its auto for me. A tuneand intake may make me change my mind about the whole thing anyway.

Thanks guys
remember the fastest bolt on only v6 is an automatic. i know i could have gone 13s, but launching hard enough to get there will require a new clutch (stronger) as mine started to fail miserabley after 100 hard launches

haha....looks like those have been with stick are already over it, including myself, and those who haven't had enough want more. my truck is manual and as fun as it sometimes is, it kills me in L.A. traffic. i love my auto stang, especailly after i got my custom tunes. twice as fun now.

Had to get a Manual because I've never taken the time to learn how to drive an Auto

the auto is much more stout than the manual anyway
Really, im not trying to be a *** or anything but what is your reasoning behind this statement?? Sure after you tune the auto it will respond better and the tune will have more of a effect on auto than manual, but in theory I wouldnt think one would be any "stouter" than the other. Ive not drove a s197 auto so i wouldnt know, maybe its a gear ratio difference that would make it feel stouter.

stouter as in stronger. the t5 is only rated at 330torque. the auto is rated for 400. 450, somin like that.

i snapped the stock t5 on 12psi of boost at the track

Trust me,
It is much easier to sell your auto stang and buy one with manual, if that is what you want.
I did a conversion on a 72 Pontiac, and it was a big pain in the a$$. I was constantly tweaking of fixing something.

Is it possible, if so how much do you think it will cost to do it? Ill prob. get a hurst short shifter, if i do this.

Right now, i find driving with an automatic to boring. Help.
