Default Would This Be a Good "Plan" For Mods?

Hi everyone, I have a 2008 v6 Mustang that is at this time bone stock. I plan on modding it this summer. I have made a "plan" on what mods I would like to put on my car, opinions are greatly accepted (but not smartasses >_&lt!

1) Dual Exhausts (http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-...l-catback.html)
2) HI-PO X-Charger ( comes with CAI and tune from BamaChips) (http://www.explorerexpress.com/xchar...049a50ce5d617b)
3) GT 8.8 rear-axle take-off (http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=728)

Those are the preformance mods that I have so far, my visual mods are just small-time billet interior, stripes (already have them ^_^), floor mats, ect... I plan to leave the body stock for that "sleeper" look.

Any suggestions to the list?

What do you think should be

1) Dont go for Pypes. Go for the FRPP system. Pypes have had a lot of fitment problems. A lot of people will probably come here and say "NO PYPES ARE GREAT" but in the end, about 50% of them dont fit right. Also, even the higher quality JBA system doesnt fit that well either. Cant go wrong with FRPP!

2) You maybe should wait a little for the aftercooled kit to come out. That thing will make some really nice power.

3) Maybe you should stick to the 7.5" rear. It is a lot lighter. Just get a FRPP tlok, and maybe some gears if you want a little extra kick.

If you think that is the set up you want then go for it, is it all nessary,no but you have and idea where to go now just expand, maybe like chris said the exhaust is not the best there are 100's of choices and you can always do some research on the subject before you buy. The X doesn't offer the best power but its safe and consistent and looks good too.

Hi Marco, are you french fried or mashed? Just kidding. Man, you're jumping in the mod thing big time right off the boat. The suggestion about the Pypes system is good. I push this brand on here because I had pretty good success with it, but the comment about fit problems is not far off base. Mating the pipes never gives a really good tight fit, there's always gap space to deal with and that's a big problem. I'm now sold onthe Ford Racing V6 system and would suggest going with that one. Maybe wait a year or so on the X-charge, put on a CAI and install a good tune. Keep the stock exhaust manifolds for a while but hook these up to the Ford system. Some 3.73 or 4.10 gears and a T-Lok, you can't go wrong with this install. I've got 4.10s and love 'em. Trash the stock driveshaft as soon as possible. Go with a custom aluminum one from Shaftmasters. Trash the stock shifter too for a good Hurst Competition one. Enjoy your new car, Jack.

Fried > mashed (cannibal??)

Hmm, so ditch the Pypes and go with an Ford Racing Preformance Parts system? Are you talking about this one? (http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=9910)

And I read somewhere on this forum that the stock rear-axle starts to have problems after 350hp, so I dont want to push it. Putting a T-lok and 4.10/3.73 gears would be better? Is gear whine a serious problem for installing new gears? From what I hear, it sounds like everyone that put in new gears are complaining because of gear whine.

For the driveshaft, should I go with the 3.5" or the 4" ones?

Also, (for lack of better words) I don't have the money to get a $600 CAI + Tune and then switching it out for an X-Charger. I want it to be permanent.
