U really think so? Did you put yours on yourself? Is it all clamps, no welding involved? In that case I probably could handle it with a little help from my bro.

Yea I did mine in my garage by myself. Took me maybe an hour or two. The only issue I had was, I had to jack my car up pretty high to get the midpipes in. I ended up putting the entire car up on jackstands, putting it in neutral so I could spin the driveshaft, then squeezed the midpipe by the driveshaft as I was spinning it to get it installed. A little finesse but all went well.

No welding, all clamps and is still working great.

Good to know, I'll take that into consideration. Thanks!

Howdy... I am essentially a computer retard and this is my first contribution to any bulletin board. I have an '05 V6 that started out as a base coupe with the sole options being auto transmission and ABS. Over the last three years I have gradually made 'aesthetic' improvements and recently I have decided I will never sell this vehicle.
Next week the car goes into the shop for a little performance 'boost'. I am adding a JLT cold air intake with SCT X3 tuner, the FR500 handling package and the M-5320-GTA dual exhaust.
My impression is quite a few people have done similar mods and I would appreciate any input regarding your interpretation of the improvements. I feel pretty confident thus far based on what I have read that I will feel my money has been well spent, but I would certainly like some validation from real life experience.
Thanks, Jim

Thanks, guys. I'm going with the GTAs. I've had my time to be obnoxious with the MRT, now it's time to grow up and be mature with the GTAs. Plus, I'm moving to California later this year. I don't want theAeroTurbines to get me into trouble. I can figure that after shipping, another AeroTurbine will set me back $275, and then getting an X pipe and having it all installed will probably run about $350 if I estimate correctly. So I'll just go with what I'd be happiest with and get the V6 performance package from FRPP. Thanks, guys. Thanks a lot... I like being sure with my decisions.

Now I just need to figure out where to get them from.
Hey Victoria, are you getting the ENTIRE performance pack? The one with the duals kitand the intake/tune kit.
JoeHeckRacing.com has that kit for $949

Hi Victoria, below is the system I told you about, the Pypes true duals. The other mid-pipe is on my car right now. I'll be taking it off when I put on my Stainless Works system. I understand if you want to go with the Ford Racing system. It's very nice. Nino definitely has the best price for the setup. I called Ford Racing about a week ago and the system is still on back order. They're having about 300 systems made up and availability should be good in a short while. Cool to hear you're moving to California. Take care, Jack.
