RE: info on v6's?
the clutch is heavier than most cars i've driven, it does take getting used to, but every manual takes getting used to. the shifter has a great feel to it. One thing though, I think 90% of V6s are ordered with the automatic...so it may be very difficult to find a manual on the lot. I know because I tried and failed. You may have to order one from the factory and wait several months, plus not get as good of a deal as you'd get from haggling with a salesman for a car thats sitting on the lot eating up his inventory.

can't lose with a 4.0. only people not satisfied are those who originally craved the GT and settled for the sxr (even some of them have accepted and love the 4.0). other than that, we are a very PROUD bunch. good luck with the car shopping.

Yep I can't believe how many compliments I get on my car when I pull into gas stations, it sure is beautiful and I think if I went anywhere from this, I'd get a saleen but that'd be for weekends only. I'm sure one could commute with a saleen if he really wanted to though Seems a lot more realiable to me with those forged rods like we already got.

The Trans on my 08 took some getting use to (maybe an hours worth of driving), but thats just becuase the clutch is so ~LIGHT~. Sometimes I can't feel the clutch pedal, so I pop her back in neutral and 'double check'...if that makes sense I'd prefer having astifferclutch (like the previous models), but the stock clutch is still VERY fun to drive.
One more thing, I wear harley boots and when I press on the clutch, it seems like there is a 'pre-footed' situation thing going on down there, to where it feels like it isn't being pressed down all the way. So, once again, I just have to 'double check'. But other than that, the car drives GREAT and has a pretty smooth drive.
