Phone button = mute

You all do realize we, the Shaker 500 at least, have a pause button for the CD don't you? Without going and looking at it I think it's button 6 it has the pause symbol (||) on it. Hit once = Pause, hit again = unpause

Yep, it's just as easy to turn the radio off.

You are all complainers! I am posting to this thread while driving, eating, talking on the cell phone and listening to music!

Just Kidding! It really is amazing that some people are incapable of talking on the phone while driving. I understand some people can talk and drive without it impairing their abilities, but some people just can't do it. And it's those people that scare me.

Yes but you must remember some people cant
even master the skill of confident driving little own
complete this task while talking on a cell phone,
putting on makeup, spying girls and so on. If you
are intimidated by driving, you should not be.

I don't talk on my cell while driving because I can't hold the phone, steer and shift all at the same time. It's too awkward and just plain dangerous as far as I'm concerned. Everybody that knows me knows to leave a voice message or better yet, text me because I can see texts from the driver's seat (phone hangs out in the cupholder when I'm driving). I answer them as soon as Ihit a red light or get to my destination. Plus the radio is too loud to hear my phone ringing anyway 99% of the time

My spouse knows that if he really needs to talk to me to text 911 + where to call him and I'll pull off and call him back. I don't tell anybody else that though because I have some idiot friends that would 911 me to ask stupid questions LOL

You're right I looked at it today. Pause is preset '6'. I just always used the power button before.
