Default Rear PoPing noise

So for the past fiew weeks ive been hearing this popping noise coming from the left rear of my car.
Its mainly when i hit the gas enough to push you into your seat, the more gas....the harder the car goes back...the loulder it it. If i gas it in reverse its REALLY lould. But i don't generally hear it when i go over bumps. I looked under there today and i saw this, it might be the cause but idk. What do u guys think? And can i bend it back or do i need to get a new arm (if thats what that thingi is)

Left side (problem side) see the bent little tab

Closer

The other side (right) the tab isn't bent

Have a mechanic check your sway bar links or do it your self, hapened to me, they were totally worn out at 20k miles. all better now (in the front)

I would think you'd see visible signs of rubbing (bare metal) if that tab was causing
your problem. It's hard to diagnose over the internet, so you should probably have
it looked at by a trusted mechanic.

You can see the rubing in this one. See the shiny silver streak just below the little tab. Thats where its rubbing

When i first got my car I had a pretty similar problem, except the popping noise would come from the front of the car and only when i put the car in reverse. I had to take my car to ford about 2 or 3 times before they finally changed pretty much everything in the frontof my car dealing with my chassis. Does it happen when you turn your wheel a certain way?

The rear sway bar does not have end links like the front sway bar.
They have middle links that dont have heim joints, just rubber bushings.

I would be more worried about where my anti-sway bar went.
I see the bracket and associated hardware that holds the sway bar on under the shock,
but the bushing and sway bar is ?MISSING?
Compare your pic to a pic of my stang with the rear sway bar installed.

Its a 4.0 V6 non PonyPackage with GT take-off sways and poly bushings.
V6s without the rear sway bar dont have the brackets for the sway bar
under the lower shock mount like yours seem to have. PonyPackages do
have a 18mm rear sway bar. Where is yours? Mine came from the factory
with no rear sway. It handled like cr@p without it. I added F/R GT sways
and poly bushings. It is now a very predictable curve hugging machine.
200% better handling in the turns and I can tail whip her at will with total control.
