amen brother, the h is the way to go and the magnaflows are great (I have em), 3in with an H beneath the tranny, they sounds good.

for a double H, you will have to fabricate your own (not hard if you have the right tools, or take it to a shop that does custom exhuast, and if you do that you might as well have them supervise the entire setup. Dont get any crazy pipe, just stick with the H or 2H setup (and the maganflow muffelrs).

From what I know the best V6 set up for performanceis no h no x (this is for V8 sound balance)but straight from headers !
Reverse Y pipe on the stock Y is just like a big X pipe or am I wrong?
On the 4.0, straight pipes are not optimal...and sound like ****.

no flow difference between x, h or reverse y, biggest flow inhibitor on our car is the cats
btw nice price on the flowmasters, i just put some on a couple days ago, sound so mean
when I pulled out of the muffler shop wasn't sure if it was my exhaust I was hearing

there is a flow difference between X, H and Y. just not enough to make a significant difference. comes down to sound and looks.

X pipe from FRPP, cheap... nope, best X pipe out there... yep. It came on my FRPP GTB kit and I can tell you that I FEEL the HP GAIN!!! i can look from one end and straight out the opposite side, it is really heavy duty and it is 2.25 or 2.5 in dia. i cant remember, it is the same as stock. It is really well built and the weld down the middle is extreme/heavy duty welded, you'll never have any problems with it. Putting it on was a breeze, just make sure you have a sawz all, you will die if you have to cut the pipes by hand. FRPP website has a manual on the GTB/GTA kit for a v6 and in there it shows exactly how it goes on (the stock pipes slip inside instead of butting up to it.)

also anyone know where I can get a good priced H + mid pipes alone I already have mufflers.
The term "true dual" means a set-up that uses an X or H pipe and seperate mid-pipes. A "Y Pipe" in the duals sense is a set up in which you have the stock "Y" with an upside down "y" underneath it. Basically, exhaust goes from the cats, down the top branches of the first "Y", down one pipe, hit one muffler, go through another pipe parallel to your rear bumper, and hit your other muffler. That is not considered "true duals.

Pypes has a kit with just an X and midpipes, i don't know about just an H and midpipes.
