Default I have an idea for an engine buildup.

So I was thinking about the torque the s197 v6 mustang makes, and most of it comes in at a low RPM range.

The X-Charger supercharger "exploits" this and puts a lot more torque on the low end of the power ratio.

Now, combine the x-charger with a good set of heads and cams which are designed for low-end torque.

What do you think would happen?

Wow.

There goes my plan haha. I've been thinking about something like this for a while - I figured I could do heads/cams because they're a little less expensive than the x-charger, then later on down the road I would get charged.

Combine that with Doug's awesome tuning capabilities and I'm sure you'd have yourself a pretty fun car to drive

Actually yes that would be a sweet setup. Then when the IC comes out for the X... You will be close to 400rwhp I would think. You would then have to do internals to support the setup and make you motor last longer. The list never ends...

Imagine a v6 Mustang beating a 2010 Camaro

So lets see,

- Heads & Cam for low end torque
- X-Charger + Intercooler
- Forged Pistons, rods, and crank
- a good engine tune

That would make a killer v6 Mustang that would be a street king.

that would be a badass set up! I would rather have a twin turbo set up instead of X though.

I am pretty sure a forged crank doesn't exist for this motor.

Goodluck with that.
