Default V6 Turbo

Well I am getting ready to get heavy into the turbo project. I'm either ordering all the parts seperate or a kit.

Any advise would be great.

And preferably a checklist for ordering the parts seperatley thanks :-).

A lot cheaper to build your own if you have the know-how. I'm building my own and slowly buying/building part by part.

As for a parts list, you'll need to expand this on your own.

Hot Side:
-Turbo
-Wastegate and pipes
-Hot side piping for exhaust, to turbo and downpipe

Cold Side:
-Intercooler
-Either a BOV or CBV depending on which setup you go with
-Cold side piping
-Clamps and cupplers

Oil/Fuel/Vac
-Oil feed and return lines
-Vac hosing
-Breather hose for valve covers
-Fuel Injectors

Gauges/Tune:
-Handheld tuner
-Dyno Tune of course
-Gauges of choice if desired

Supporting mods:
-Rear end is a must I would say, rest is up to you

Good luck.

STS has a really nice kit that puts the turbo in the rear. The price is also not rediculous. Def worth a look.

It's a neat kit but I just don't like the small piping run under the car.

I wouldn't have to get an exhaust with that one I might go for that.

you can go with the sts but at 9psi it falls short of other turbokits out there by a pretty good amount powerwise.

also im not sure but i thought the sts kit was around 5k? which makes it right about the other kits pricing.
