Not sure if they are the right ones.
I don't think they are. They have a notch in the center that looks like
they are made to fit into.
They seem to work though. No slipping or anything right now.

So then you got them to somehow work?

Yeah those wouldn't be the correct ones then. 07 and up are designed different.

has anyone tried retrofitting the MGW ***** listed below for an 07-09
http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang2005_billet_ac_knobs.shtml

I made the mistake of buying these without realizing they wont work on my 08.

I looked at the back of the MGW ***** and the stock ***** and they are exactly the same except the stock ***** have a couple of grooves cut in them. I believe i can cut the same grooves in the MGW ***** with a wire cutter and they should work.

If anyone else has done this it would give me more courage to potentially ruin these.

I just put that set on from SHR. It was a little scary breaking the old ***** off. The most important part is making sure you have all the little pieces of broken plastic dug out of the controls, before you try and put the new ***** on. Look at each **** and see how many little tabs broke off, so you won't miss any. They're hard to see, and I used a straight pin to dig them out. It appears there are three notches that hold each **** on, and if a little piece of plastic get left in there, the new one may not hook on all three notches, and thus won't lock on like they're supposed too. The new one's look great.....Did that make any sense???
