Need fog light wiring help
So got a great deal on the pony grill w/ fog lights tonight. Installed it, no issues, but I do have a general question.
Since the oem foglights have a connector on them, should I have any issues cutting it off and wiring the fog lights up old fashion. Or must I buy the oem switch, harness etc....
It looks simple, two wires. Black I assume is ground and brown is positive. Hook both fogs together, connect to switch and power source, done.
What do you think?

I don't know too much about the electronics on these cars so I can't really help you with your question. On my fogs I used the street scenes wiring harness. It took about a half hour to install and there is no cutting involved. It looks clean and almost looks like it came stock on the car.

No issues, right? No issues with what?
Seems to be a power issue?? Lost.
You can supply 12Volts to them in any fashion you like
as well as the wiring/switch can handle the amperage
and its properly fused. No stringing wires around moving
items such as the fan belt and such. Waterproof any
openings you put into the firewall when running wires.
I would recommend using the GT headlight switch as
the OEM pull for fogs will prevent you from leaving them
on and running down the battery by mistake.

I made my harness, no cutting, used a GT headlight
switch, stock Fog Fuse/Relay location and it all looks
and performs like stock operation.
