Light Wire Mix Up !!
So i bought my 07 pony pretty cheap. $14k with only 1400 miles on it and all the plastic factory covers still on the car in the inside. The price was unbelievable. BUt i guess in the end it kind of bit me. My front right turn signal doesnt flash when the running lights are on. Itll flash when there off, but when i have my lights on at night, the signal doesnt flash. So i took it to the dealer today since my car is still under warranty. Turns out the light harness was replaced with the correct harness. but whoever wired it was an idiot.
So you know how there are three wires that go into it? Supposably whoever wired it, switched one of the power wires with the ground and plugged them into the wrong spot. Ford says they need to charge me $170 to REPAIR THIS.. They confirmed, they wont need to buy parts, they just need to repair it.... So.. heres my question.. cant i just cut the two wires behind the harness, switch them around, and connect them back into the harness using wire connectors? or does anyone know how to release the wires from the harness?

well no.. what happend it the car is from california. i bought it here in el paso almost new like i said from like one of those dealers on the street who only sell like 4 or 5 cars.
so the car was wrecked before i bought it. but u can tell the damages werent fixed by a dealer.. they were crap fixes..

Well, if that's the case I don't see why you couldn't just rewire like you said. Worse case is that you splice them back into the way they are now right? Just leave yourself a little extra wire in there for the splices!
