A Matte black would give it the look of like a shaker hood, that'd be interesting...If you're planning to stripe your car, paint it red for so when it comes time for the stripes it'll be ready

These are stick on, non functional, fake scoops. Who cares.
If you want it to look like the original cobrajets, go with
satin black. If not, paint it the same as the body color. What
ever the owner likes is the right choice. However, he asked!!
