Default Good Idea?

Well my warranty is up at 75,000 miles so I have been thinking about focusing on the cosmetic part of the car because I dont feel like chancing my warranty. Anyways im looking at getting side scoops and lavenders both tape on. First is getting tape on a good idea, well, will it last? And where would be the best place to get it painted tungsten grey metallic?

Automotive 3M tape will be fine, that's what all the official Cervinis instructions call for on my scoops. Um, by lavenders, do you mean louvers for the quarter windows? wheelskin.com sells a style painted for a good price, www.rpidesigns.com has other brands painted at a very good price as well
