Default Removed Muffler / Cat Converter

About a month ago i removed the muffler / cat converter from my mustang. Will this hurt the engine in the long run? I personally think it sounds MUCH better.

sounds better? did you actually rev it?

i do admit it sounds beefy and mean when idling but thats it. as another member pointed out in a past thread after revving.... "sounds like something is about to blow up!".... lol.

You have 2 cats so I call B%llsheit....
And you have the O2 sensor just hanging by the wire?
Without the cats (2) I can see the sensors (2) going ape
wild trying to sense the exhaust that close to the end of
the pipes where the cats were cut off at.
