I put the TCI shifter in my '05 GT a few months ago and I couldn't be happier with it's operation and product quality. The production units look a little different from the prototype phots, I did like the leather boot better than the rubber on the prototype. I made some cosmetic changes this week to make mine unique and get T-handle with "TCI" on it out of the car.

Mine looks like this now....

Anybody interested in buying one of these shifters, I just found them for $299. Hopefully they'll drop enough by Christmas to where I can talk my wife into getting me one. I'm going to guess that is NOT going to happen though lol.

I guess I'll chime in with a negative post.
I bought one and wasn't happy with it.
It made a ticking noise at 2000+ rpms.
Yes it was installed correctly and yes it shifted fine and the ratchet was fine.
It ticked, and the tick was louder with my hand on the shifter. Sounded like an electrical type of noise.
Also, the machining on the front of the park release lever and the fake buttons on the shift handle could have been better.
I called TCI. They didn't seem interested. They said a tech would call me back. Nobody called back.
Anyway, I'm glad I bought it from Jegs. I put the stocker back in and sent it back for a refund.
