Now, what sort of "water leaks" are we talking about here please?
The water leak has a Ford TSB (Technical Service Bulliten). If you do a search on the main "2005-2010 Mustangs" fourm, you find many, many posts about the dreaded leak. I will point out that not everyone has this problem.

Ok, this is typically the sign of heater core (cooling system) "issues" (probs.). Is that what I'm reading here?

Default CLUTCH PEDAL FEEL

Thanks, 157. I should have been more clear: My question about clutch-pedal feel (some stiff, some soft) concerns model years 2005 to 2009. I drove a Mustang that was built the same year as mine, but toward the end of that year, and its clutch pedal was much lighter. After using mine for a couple of years, I almost put the clutch pedal of this other Mustang through the freaking floorboard!

Does anyone know why the difference in feel, regarding the clutch pedals within the same model year 2008?

If you check the TSB it isn't the heater core. It is a problem with the seal on the firewall as I recall (I didn't pull up the TSB to be sure where the leak is). It happens with rain and hits the smart junction box messing with the electronics.

Nope, that's not it. Most Mustangs that experience problems with phantom electrical issues are most likely the dreaded leak. Do a search and read all about it. You will find some members have located an easy fix for some leaks.

The TSBs tell the leak areas in detail.
I just got thru with a total disassebly to fix my leak...

I have a 2005 Mustang 4.0 and the clutch is a lot stiffer than my 1999 Muatang V6. When I have to drive in stop and go traffic, the clutch is a pain in the a$$!

Over 6 months, I've been experiencing high idle issues when I come to a stop. When I come to a stop light or stop sign, my idle will go up to 2,000 - 2,500 RPMs and I have to hit the gas pedal for it to return to normal idle.
