Does the JBA dual kit use a Y-pipe? I was a bit suprised to hear the same popping I had before I got the H-pipe installed, but I thought that was only a problem when you had true duals.

Sounds pretty darn sweet for a kit, though. Set off any car alarms yet??

Am I understanding this right... are you saying that if you go Casco you might not get a good color match or what? I would eventually like to change to a GT bumper on mine (front for lights eventually and rear for exhaust). Am I better off ordering a brand new one?

Is it specific colors that are more likely to be off? I have a black one.

Keep in mind, I'm far from an expert on the subject... I think any time you paint a car part, it helps to compare the color to the other parts of the car. My bodyshop spent a lot of time getting the color right, so they wouldn't have to blend the rear quarters, which would be far more expensive. In the factory, parts like bumpers are often painted seperatetly from the rest of the body and don't quite match anyways. A take-off part from another car is probably going to look great, but it's not the route I choose to take.

Obviously I'm no expert, either. But I would like to think that black (and maybe even white) wouldn't require much matching. There are no shades of black or white. I would like to think that black is black is black.

good point... black is black and white is white... I know I have a 64 pack of crayolas around here somewhere!

Really, the differences are probably going to be minimal...

You inspired me man. I just bought a kit from casco that includes gt bumpers, rockers, exhaust and wheels. Funny thing is my valet garage at work screwed up my bumper. Anyway thier adjust just finished looking at my car and cut me a check for repiars, which is only a little less then the kit above without the wheels. Mike at Casco made me a deal to throw in the wheels. So I should have the kit in 5 days and then I'll have it installed.

Seeing your ride inspired me to go duals that look clean.

Thanks.

Mike at Casco is a good guy... I ordered a single GT muffler from him, then later replaced it with the duals. You're gonna love 'em!

Just got my JBA Headers installed, they sound great with my magnaflow Axleback.... I can feel some extra power as well...plus the install was only $180.00, which is a steal in the DC Area. I think this about does it for the performance mods, I have 4.10's/T-loc, MMR CAI and Inlet/ Headers and Axleback. I have decided against duels, it is just to much money and not enough gain in the HP department. Only thing I could possibly do is Underdrive pullies when they come out someday.

How loud is the setup at idle inside the car?

I was looking to go with the EXACT same setup but I have a fairly nice sound system and really do not want the audio to be fighting with the exhaust for my attention

Doc.... snazzy! You must be diggin' all of your mods!

I haven't had my exhaust drown out the shaker 500... it's noticeably louder than stock, but it's never a distraction.
