Can you please measure side to side and tell me if a 78" stripe will fit with some overhang for trimming on the ends in the attached photos area?

I need a measurement where this old rocker stripe is, it's right up against the body line kinda as you can see.

These are rocker stripes i am doing for a family member for Christmas and they are hours away so i can't take a measurement.

It's a 2005 V6 also.
