Default RE: Which Intake?

Personally I think spending the extra 100 on the MMR intake to get the tube is a waste of money. How smooth flowing can a tube get, I doubt it makes a noticable difference. Show me a dyno with and w/o the MMR tube vs. stock and then we'll see.

Default RE: Which Intake?

ok so here is the dyno. with the AFe cold air kit and a custom tune, so sean said it is still lean. so he re calibrated the car for the tune. so i called AFe to let them know about the lean condition and they said they will look into it. then yesterday i was at the dealer having lunch with my friend and told him about the lean problem, remember we hooked up to the wds 2 weeks ago and it looked ok. he said the car was fine for stock tune but when sean changed the peramiters of the computer it agravated the lean condition. he basicly was telling me that if i wanted to use the car stock no tune the Afe kit would be fine and the computer would compinsate for the lean condition. but if i wanted the tune the tuner should re calibrate for the more agressive tune. so i will see i have over 2000 miles with the AFR kit on the stock tune and no light. i now have about 150 miles with the custom tune ill keep everyone posted.
