Darn, close enough though haha. Still a very good motor. Gotta love Nissan.

I have the 18s on V6 caliper brackets and the gap is mighty thin.
Almost scary.
The inners of the tires rub during lock to lock turning and the
OEM steering stops are recommended.
The 16" rim OEM equipped stangs diont have steering stops from the factory....

Yep, been there, seen that! When I put the 18" FRPP Bullitts on, they cleared the front caliper brackets....but just fricking barely! So I put 1/4" spacers behind the wheels and now I feel comfy. I also added the Roush Steering Stops that AM sell and have no rubbing at the wheel stops.

Going to do a brake upgrade this spring to GT take off Rotors and I will pull the spacers out then.

Yea, the spacer are really not needed and are putting undue
stress on your front hubs and studs...
Spacers are the poor mans wheel fitment trick...
Not recommended to fix fitment issues...
The gap is there so the spacers are not needed...

I didn't take time to read this thread through but all I need to add is that if you want 17" Bullitt rims then the best way to do it is just find someone within a driving distance from you and try and pick them up for ~$400. I picked mine up for $400 in pretty much brand new condition (had like 5000 miles on them I think?) and then I found a guy who had a Mustang GT but wanted the 16" rims for winter driving - so I sold him mine for $300 and my rims weren't in that good of condition and the tires were balding! In the end I paid $100 for new rims/tires - all it took was a lot of patience. I ended up waiting around a year to find the right deal (I wasn't in any hurry though)
