Good for you.
Glad that this dealer as work ethics.
Amazing contrast from one dealer to another, lol.

I am at a loss here.
How can one stealership deny warranty coverage and
then another turn right around and fix it for free under warranty.
This just puts the stealerships another rung down on the ladder
to heck, in my book.

It holds the seat belt strap in a position to easily grab. It is not a safety issue--it is a convenience issue. I love it! It was not positioned the first time I test drove the car and I struggled to reach the seat belt. When I commented on how inconveinent it was to reach for the seatbelt, the salesman replied "its a coupe". Apparently he was unfamailiar with the plastic holder (and many other features of the car). I left thinking that I should have been the salesman selling him a car! Ended up purchasing the exact same car from another dealership.

I know its really weird how two different dealerships approached the coverage so differently. Maybe it is just because I bought the car from the dealership where they were so willing to fix it.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Why didn't you take it to where you bought it in the first place?
I pass by 3 dealerships to go to where I bought mine for service. I wouldn't take my bicycle into those other 3!

I think you should post the name of the dealership that wouldn't fix it.

That is the exact thought process of the dealership. It really is tough. Just as likely as this guy is telling the truth about it snapping without much pressure, another guy can walk in, over-rev his engine, and blame Ford for a faulty engine that blew with 1,000 miles. And those are the people that are more convincing.

But I definitely hope the dealership fixes it. That's a very strange situatio nto happen.
