Default clunking noise

about half of the time i reverse out of a parking spot, i hear a pretty loud clunk coming from somewhere in the rear half of my car. my panhard bar is slightly bent, could this be the cause?

well i thought id update on this, i got under the rear of my car and started tightening bolts, i found that it was most likely caused by the panhard bars bolt on the passenger side being kind of loose. i tightened it up and i havent heard the clunk since, also got rid of a horrible rattle that i had.

If your panhard bar is bent enough to notice, you want to get it replaced asap even if you've solved the clunk. A failure there, especially while going around a corner could lead to a loss of control and some potentially severe consequences.
