blacking out running pony?

I want to do the faux gas cap as well, black it out that is.

My friend that works at a paint shop did my running pony in the grille, he used the common mixture used to tint tailights clearcoat + black. It has a black chrome look to it, Ill have to see if I have a close up picture; if not I will take one.

Heres a decent picture I can find from about 2 years ago when I wrecked it . I think the black chrome look would look really good for what youre going for.

PS. My fog lights arent that ugly looking its the just the angle the light is hitting it at.

oo yea thats really nice
thatll look good bc itll match the gloss black wheels ill be getting
and 157 i havent thought that through yet lol
couldnt i use 3M tape?

Yea I dont know if you could tell in the picture but its more of a greyish color instead of black, so yea it has the black chrome look.

I would think 3M tape would work fine.
