I just ordered the AEM. Will get it and install on Thursday. I'll post my review. I recently put a generic CAI on my 04 V8 Dodge Dakota. The difference is far beyond what I expected. It is a little loud, but the power difference is significant. I'm hoping to feel something similar in difference after installing the AEM on my V6.

Got one coming Thurs as well. I'll be happy to post a second opinion when it gets here. I did write to one of the guys on TMS that installed one. He says he's very happy with in, noticable improvement.

I put mine on two weeks ago, and it's a noticeable difference.

Thanks, but I'm running out of excuses to leave the hood open (when I'm not driving it around with a big grin). This was a very worthwhile mod imho

Was an easy 30-45 min install. Looks awsome under the hood. So far I can't tell a differance, but I have not had a chance to get out and stomp on it yet.

wow...you dug up an OLD post. don't bother with the AEM unless you don't want to get custom tuned or you just like the looks of it. i plan on upgrading to the C&L as soon as i can. i had to replace the dryflow flow filter that came with mine with a S&B filter just so i can get better throttle response. not saying its a bad product, just saying that there are better options out there. i got mine almost two years ago. many more intakes came into the market since then. if you dont plan on tuning, i hear the AFE has the best performance for "no tune required" intakes. good luck.
