Actually this morning I rolled over 148,900 on the odometer. So very stout - I get the oil analyzed about every third change to see how it is wearing. Had the car up on a lift at my friend's garage where he works on his BMW road race car and he was shocked to see no leaks with the miles and racing my car has seen. I went from a CAI + tune, to CAI + nitrous, then pulled the nitrous and put the Xcharger on and upgraded it to the Xtreme intercooled kit this year.

So far with the intercooler it has run 13.35, now need to get back to the track with a new set of tires and 15" wheels so they will be a little bit lighter (15x8 rear and 15x3.5 fronts) and a smaller rear tire diameter to raise my effective gear ratio.

I'm going to do a compression test and leak down sometime soon. My friend who races the BMW has all the components in his shop so we are going to check it one of these Saturdays. But with weekend racing it is hard to find one where we both have time available.

"NOS" is a trade name just like "ZEX" is another trade name for a different nitrous kit. The use of the term "nawz" to mean nitrous came out of the "Fast and Furious" movies - you will sound like you know what you are dealing with if you call it "nitrous" or even "juice" over "nawz". As far as reliability comparing a supercharger to nitrous - it didn't seem to hurt my engine running the 75 shot and then going to a supercharger. The nitrous does hit a lot harder though, the supercharger is a little more linear with boost building up. But, the supercharger is always available so I am getting on it more than just a track run of course - but again, after many miles on the Xcharger I haven't had any problems with my car.

Lol, I was arguing with some idiot at school once and he always claims he had a Z28 but nobody ever saw it and how fast it was... and I knew he didn't know much about anything when he told me he had "Nos"
