Woah that is crazy. My 06 v6 w/ pony package was 14K and it only had 31K miles on it! It had very few scratches/chips/imperfections on the exterior and interior. The thing was barely driven, the engine looked clean and shiny and brand new. The only things wrong were that the stock pirellis only had about 20% tread life left and the brakes were going to need replacing within the year. The 05 v6 with 62k miles for 12K sounds a bit high to me.

Thanks not a member, man I'm a member of so many things but probably will, the guy at our dealer is our club rep. ordered this before perfomance pack was ready so when I saw and had the 6 spd shift and 3.31 gears, MCA package, HID's, it came with more stuff than my GT premium had, besides I had the 19' wheels and hate them, 18's much better, but I did upgrade my sound system to all memphis speakers including door subs and a alpine 5 channel HD amp. plus got car w/ x plan pricing. saved about 2 grand

My point about the mods was that I will want to mod the v6 more than I would the GT. That sucks about the guy who wrecked his car twice... I think I would be happy with the v6, but would love a GT. Worst case, I can always treat myself to a GT later on..

I have a V6. I chose it over the V8 partly because I had a 16 year old new driver at home who would drive it sometimes. There is just no way I was going to let him behind the wheel of a V8. It's too much temptation even for us 50 year olds. Also, just a CAI, tune, and some take-off swaybars totally changes the personality of a V6 from the stock version. It's a heck of a lot of fun as a DD. Finally, I also think it's really unwise to put every cent you've got into a car with over 100,000 on it. All kinds of parts start wearing out at that point. In the world of cars there's no end to faster, cooler, or more expensive. Cars are always a financial drain. Always. Your only choice is how big you want to lose. You've got to man up and draw your own line in a place that makes sense for you. Save some money for going out with friends or for college. Sometimes I catch myself saying "I wish I'd gotten the V8." But most times I say to myself, "I'm glad I had enough self-control to make a good decision." That's what I'd say to my son anyways.

im a member of mca, really all you get is a magazine every month and some decal to put on your windshield saying your a member... i think its more geared to old mustangs, but the local mustang club im in is a regional member so i signed up for a year, i wont renew it for 50 bucks... but the club must have to pull to have ford make a mustang based on the club like yours!

Those prices are retarded. I wouldn't buy either. I only paid $18,500.00 +ttlr,etc... for my '10 v6 NEW. If you can put 7k down and your father to co-sign, your payments would be like 200/mo. on a new car.

Or go to the dealer and get a real low mileage one for even less. You should really do some shopping around. I wouldn't touch either of those cars for those prices.

I love my V6. Only regret is the sound. Cannot get a V6 to sound like the 8. I have duals and GT take offs but it still sounds like a 6. Other than that more than enought power for me. Less insurance and to me it looks great!

That's ridiculous. Yet another reason why I wouldn't live in California. I picked up a brand new 2010 V6 program car with 13K miles on it for 17K.

My '09 rag top was a Ford program car. It had 16,000 miles on it when I bought it. I bought it for $13,000 under the sticker price, so I was lucky enough to pay cash. My first priority was the convertible, and 2nd under 20,000 miles. I would have considered a GT if I could have found one, but year old GT rag tops are pretty scarce. I'm an ol' gizzer, and have 2 grand kids driving. From about any angle, the v-6 is a better fit. I don't go to the strip, and gave up street racing about 40 years ago. I just like to go cruzin' and maybe stop at the Dairy Queen on the way home. Can't remember the last time I got a ticket, so I guess insurance is a non-issue. It may not be a GT or 500, but I get a big grin on my face, every time I back it out of the garage. So, I'm just saying, just another day in paradise.......
