The cheapest v6 at any dealers within 50 miles of me with decent mileage is the 05 for $12k with 62k miles. As far as GTs go, $14k for an 06 with 101k miles. Another GT for $15k with 70k miles (but its an automatic =/ )

Too bad you weren't here in NC, when I traded my '10 with $8,000 worth modds and 25,000 miles for $25,000 That was a bargin, but no one wanted due to what the '11's were offering up.

I'd take a 99-04 GT over an 05-09 V6.

Our 06 V6 Mustang ran a tire spinning 14.7 in the 1/4 mile & was a really nice car but we always wished we would of got the V8 instead. Gotta love the sound of the V8 and the V6 will never sound like the V8.

We just bought a new 2010 GT & that was a hugh upgrade from the 06 V6. Our insurance only went from $59/month to $63/month for $.5 Million coverage. We also bought a new 2010 Challenger SRT8 (425hp 6.1 Hemi) last month and it is only 10 cents/month more to insure it then the 2010 GT....

Either car you are looking at is a winner for your age. Comes down to your personal preference.

Take your time and look every day for the car you really want, i spent 5 months of everyday searching craigslist, car dealer websites, driivng around looking for the car i really wanted. I got m 06 coupe for 10,000 wih 68,000 miles when i got it. The previous owner ran magnaflow dual exhaust cat back, GT wheels, wing, hoodscoop and GT rear bumper so i think i got a good deal with the upgrades on it. When i got it home my dad drove it and even said it was prtty peppy for a v6

Dont let the auto discourage you. If you commute is in a heavy traffic area, the auto will be a blessing. Also no matter how good you are you will never shift faster than a auto.

So true. I wanted a stick sooo bad, but I just don't live in an area that makes that possible. Plus, the auto was in better condition and 500 bucks cheaper.

HELLO!

Don't make me ban one of you for ruining threads with political garabage, this is MustangForums not a place for your political debate.

If I have to close this thread because of people bitching, I will take down a person or two along with the thread.
