I have searched for this tonight and cannot find it. I know I say instructions on taking the mirror off and getting to a screw that tends to come loose about a month ago. Anyone know where this is?

I took it off a few weeks ago but did not pop the inside out to get to the screw. I wanted to read this again before I force it off so I will not break anything.

It's pretty easy.. just pull the black covers off and tighten the screws. The FAQ is a bit more detailed but i just tighten the screws and stopped rattling.

 

Give it a nice tug it will come off without breaking anything just have the door open and window down when you do it obviously it will be easier.

 

So, just pop the mirror off the housing? I see there is a nut to tighten up behind there. Thanks for the link, that is the one I saw a few weeks ago.

 

I have another rattle in the ac vent on the passanger side. Anyone have a fix for that?

 

No, from the inside of the car in the corner where the mirror is there is the black sail panel (looks like a sail) pop that off and tighten the three nuts within there that hold the mirror on.
