Default header problems

I ordered a set of headers from MAC and had them put on today. The guy at the exhaust place asked about exhaust manifold gaskets, and I said I didn't have any. So, like a moron, I asked if he could just put it on there with the old ones. I asked the guys at the ford dealership, and they said that it shouldn't be a problem, but it turns out that the exhaust is definatly leaking. You can only hear it when the engine is under a load, like under harder acceleration. Needless to say I have been babying my car, until I can get it to the dealership on Monday. I just wanted to know if anyone knew if it was a problem to drive it back and forth to work everyday, seeing as how this is my only car. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanx in advance.
