Unhappy Interior lights

Hi
haven't use the car for a few months, 2005 convertible, and now the interior lights are on all the time. I guess it's a stuck door sensor somewhere - but where?
Thanks
John

This seems to come up quite a bit. So don't take this the wrong way. Just to be sure to check that the dimmer wheel next to the light switch is not pushed all the way up. That makes the interior lights stay on. Otherwise I don't know.

This also just came up in the main forum.

Yeah, I'll bet good money that you have the dimmer cranked up to the point that it turns on the map lights. And if you look in the Owners Manual, you'll find the description on how that functions.

Oh, and those big black skinny things that keep moving across your windshield? You can find out about those too.

Being that he is talking about stuck door sensors and all, I think he might know how to turn the switch on the light down, lol.

You think? I'm an engineer and it took me awhile to figure out how to open the saftey catch on the hood and months to realize there is a false bottom on the rear cup holder in the center console.

I've done this before. I had to pull the bulbs out because I couldn't figure out how to get them off. Then I realized the switch was all the way up

Lol, I guess it's possible. My dad didn't figure out how to use the fogs in his GT/CS for 5 months after he got it. Then when I was learning to drive, the first time I was ever in bad weather, I figured it out. I still haven't gotten around to telling him about the secret extended cupholder though, haha.
