Time and time again this is discussed! A part will not void your warranty, it just voids the warranty on the part you are replacing/modifying! Or if they can find that the cause of something failing on your car is due to a part you have changed that can void the warranty on the effected parts aswell!

+1 on 2005Redfire6's explanation about the warranty.

As for installation it's extremely simple, just a few bolts to work with. It bolts onto the stock shifter so you don't even have to take the shifter out of the car. The biggest thing is getting your car lifted high enough on all 4's so you have room to get all the way under the car to do it(safety, safety, safety). If you want, PM me your email address and I can send you the installation instructions in a PDF file format.

I did this, changed the tranny fluid and bought a white Roush shifter **** for appearance and love the setup more than I did the Hurst(no rattles) and for a fraction of the price. But changing that tranny fluid is a huge deal.

So to me this is coming down to how bad the rattle is... I usually do like high rpms when accelerating but I like to save gas just as much as any other man. I also tend to drive pumping some loud music... So the question becomes how bad exactly is this rattle? How prevailant is it? and is there anything that can be done about it?
