I am in the lake effect belt of northern Indiana ... We get A LOT of snow here (not this year thank god) and i drive my v6 auto year round.. no snow tires no weight ... only thing i ever have trouble with is stopping ... which is solved by not driving like a d-bag in the first place... take it nice and slow and its not bad at all ...

its also fun when there is no one in site .. love getting sideways in the winter .. or summer for that matter ..

2011 v6 convertable with stock tires. Totaly worthless in the snow. But on snow days we drive the 06 Duramax 4x4.

+1 = getting a beater... I throw a cover on the Stang before the salt hits the road.

My 1995 Jeep wrangler NEVER lets me down & saves winter wear and tear on the Stang
31/10.5 BFG AT/KOs & 4X4 are MUCH better in the snow than ANY tire you can bolt on a 2WD car...

I'm just sayin' ...
