They give us tires rated for the speed. They give us a speedometer indicating the speed. Don't you get it? They suck us in with indicators knowing it can't. Do you honestly believe I am the first person who did not know about a governor? Why don't they stop misleading/lying and make speedo say 120 and tires rated for more than possible? You people are so OK with the deception that you will not give me a straight answer about is this practice right? You have totally accepted the deal. The word ROBOT come to mind. I am not a robot. If I buy a product indicating potential with NO word written or spoken to say otherwise, well I expect to get what I paid for.

Because at 130 the driveshaft literally explodes.
It isnt rated to go past 115 so if you want to go faster you must uograde parts. Ds, suspension, probably tires.
Goodluck explaining to the ninja cop why your going 150

Did you forget that the base price of a v6 is around 22-23K while your optima is a good 30K? How about the fact that an aluminum DS is probably one months payment on your car? While a tuner will unrestrict your speedo if you so wish to "feel the speed".

Ford never advertises the pirellis, nor do they make any claims to a stellar top speed, you made big assumptions based off of half-assed clues. But all these things (and more) are achievable though modest upgrades (which are more than affordable with the cash you saved on your kia).

Did you research the car before buying it? Did you even google it? There are literally hundreds of threads on online forums about this topic.
