Can you elaborate on the BBK TB problems? It’s been on for about 5k now and haven’t had a prob. Yet. $ is a little tight right now, so I would rather do 1 now! Should I do a tune first, then when gears are done send for a new tune??
I’ve heard of lots of issues with a sticking butterfly valve and idle problems, along with no tangible benefit from any non-OEM TB. I suppose there’s probably no harm keeping the BBK TB on until you have a problem.
And, yes, you can do the gears now and just update the tune later for new gears. But I think going from 2.73 to 3.73 gears would really be something you’d feel. It was a big deal for me just going from 3.31 to 3.73 gears.
