Bluetooth Adapter disconnects from Power
I use a bluetooth adapter to play music from my smart phone in my 06 GT. The adapter plugs into the dash but every time I hit a significant bump, I lose blue tooth connection as the power is interrupted. I was thinking of wrapping the plug with aluminum foil to secure a better fit. Is this a really stupid idea? When it comes to electricity, I am really stupid.
I tried wrapping a rubber band on the end of the plug, away from the metal contact, to get a tighter fit but I it's not working. I still lose connection. Can I short something out using aluminum foil, start a fire, etc?
Any ideas for a solution would be appreciated.

I used a BT adapter that plugs into the AUX port, never ever had issues.
I have an radio now that supports BT, so I don't use it anymore. I don't
use those 12V plug in FM transmitters, they're not good. Maybe if you
move it to the console's 12V power point, it may work better.
THIS is the kind I used for five years, from my Charger, to my VWs, to
my mustang, now no more that I have an Android radio that does everything.

I think you are only half right. People have information but do not want to share it. LOL. It's cool. I know some people are reluctant to provide info because others are waiting to jump down their throats.....or maybe in this case, nobody cares..period.
