Car starts up but doesn’t move
My name is Jordan An I have an 05 Mustang v6 (auto). I got it about a year an a half ago with about 180,000 mi on it but it’s been all smiles until about a month ago. I was driving it fine raced a few people but the next morning the car wouldn’t move. I didn’t really have signs of a faulty transmission so I didn’t think it was that but I’m kind of stumped still. The car starts up fine shifts in gear fine but when I give it gas in gear it doesn’t roll or anything even after transmission fluid/filter change, Lucas. Any suggestions?

That would certainly do it. If broken, there would be no fluid pressure; this could be easily checked at the pressure port on the LH side of the transmission.

Input shaft or the linkage between the shifter and transmission is broken. When you put it in neutral, can you push the car or is it "stuck" like in park? If it's stuck then the linkage could be broken. If' you can push the car, then it's the input shaft.
